Terms and Conditions
By accessing and using the Jay Natural Health Clinic website and services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
1. Appointments
- Appointments can be made online, by phone, email, or in person. (Only face-to-face consultation will be proceeded.)
- Clients are encouraged to arrive 5–10 minutes before their scheduled appointment.
- Late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time to avoid delays for other clients.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
- A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the treatment cost.
- Failure to attend an appointment without notice ("no-show") may result in the full treatment fee being charged.
3. Payment
- Payment is required at the completion of each treatment unless otherwise arranged.
- Accepted payment methods include cash and Pay ID.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
4. Health Information and Client Responsibility
- Clients must provide accurate and complete health information before treatment.
- Clients are responsible for informing the practitioner of any changes to their medical condition, medications, injuries, pregnancy, or allergies.
- Failure to disclose relevant health information may affect treatment outcomes and safety.
5. Remedial Massage Services
- Remedial massage is provided to assist with muscle tension, pain management, mobility, relaxation, and general wellbeing.
- Remedial massage is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a registered medical practitioner.
- Practitioners do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medications.
6. Ayurveda Consultations and Recommendations
- Ayurveda consultations and recommendations are intended to support overall wellbeing and lifestyle management.
- Ayurvedic advice, herbal recommendations, dietary suggestions, and lifestyle guidance are complementary in nature.
- Clients should consult their medical practitioner before making significant changes to medications, diet, or healthcare plans.
7. Consent to Treatment
- By attending an appointment, clients consent to receiving remedial massage and/or Ayurvedic services.
- Clients may withdraw consent or request modification of treatment at any time.
- Practitioners reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if it is considered unsafe or inappropriate.
8. Privacy and Confidentiality
- Personal and health information is collected and stored in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
- Client information will remain confidential unless disclosure is required by law or with the client's consent.
- Information may be used for treatment planning, record keeping, and clinic administration.
9. Professional Boundaries
- The clinic maintains a strict professional environment.
- Inappropriate, abusive, or sexual behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the session.
- Full treatment fees may still apply.
10. Liability
- While every reasonable care is taken, clients acknowledge that all treatments carry some degree of inherent risk.
- The clinic and practitioner are not liable for any injury, loss, or adverse reaction resulting from undisclosed medical conditions or failure to follow professional recommendations.
- Liability is limited to the extent permitted under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Expiry dates, where applicable, will be stated on the voucher.
- Lost or stolen vouchers may not be replaced.
12. Children and Minors
- Clients under 18 years of age must have written consent from a parent or guardian.
- A parent or guardian may be required to remain present during treatment.
13. Clinic Rights
- The clinic reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Continued use of clinic services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
